I had always dream of being a writer. In fact my ambition in life is to write at least one book before I die. The unfortunate thing about life is that you never know when you will be call back to Allah. Well, that means I haven't got much time. In realising this, I decided to start blogging. Sharpening my writting skill and start rearranging my thoughts properly. Who knows where I might end up. As the saying by the chinese, 'A journey of a thousand mile start with the very first step'.
Ever since being in the service, I had less and less time to write. Still, that's not a good excuse. I try to read more as they say reading helps alot to produce good writings. I found that I am more and more drawn to history. Slowly, I'm becoming a history buff. Funny thou, I know a lot more about medieval history of the Middle East then the history of my own country. So, in realising that I decided to start reading about Malacca Sultanate. Why? Some of my friends asked. The answer is simply because I want to. Like I said, history is interesting to me. Strangely, the subject wasn't my strongest point during secondary school. Wonder why? Mostly, I blame it on the teacher. He's not a bad one. Just not the right delivery.
You know that's the challenge of being a teacher. You have to know how to deliver your stuff. Personally, I think being a good teacher is like being a good salesman. You had to convince your client (your student) that what you are teaching is wonderful, relevent and interesting. Fail that and you lost you client. Just as in sales dealings.
With that I think I know where this blog of mine should go. Incoherent with this blog site design theme. Medieval isn't it?
For those who reads this blog, I welcome any comment on style, grammatical and spelling. And also anything that I've put up in my blog.
This is all for now.
